- Track open customer orders and expedite with suppliers, obtain price and delivery quotations from vendors
- Make phone calls (price and delivery) for inside sales staff and cross reference customer part numbers
- Develop knowledge and understanding of sales, customers, and product lines in preparation for promotion into a sales and/or customer service role
- Resolve sales, administrative problems, inquiries, analyze data, and identifying solutions
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product knowledge to best support suppliers, customers, and team members
- Research price and delivery options with suppliers
- Provide overall support to the sales team to include data entry
