About Spring Flowers
Founded in 1983 by Maria Moureto, Spring Flowers has dressed generations of New York families from our boutique on Madison Avenue (72nd/73rd). Today we design and produce our own label, Fleurisse — known for hand embroidery, classic smocking, and thoughtful tailoring for babies through age 8 — sold exclusively in our Madison Avenue and Palm Beach boutiques and online. We remain family-owned and independent, and we believe childhood is fleeting: what children wear should be as memorable as the moments they make.
The Role
We're looking for a polished, warm sales professional to join our Madison Avenue team. Working alongside our senior advisors, you'll deliver an exceptional standard of service to a discerning clientele while developing the craft of luxury clienteling — this is a role to grow in, with a clear path toward becoming a Senior Sales Advisor.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist clients with grace and attentiveness; support fittings, gifting, and phone orders
- Process transactions accurately; handle gift wrapping to a luxury standard
- Learn our Fleurisse collections in depth — sizing, fabrication, and styling for babies through age 8
- Begin building client relationships and contribute to outreach on new arrivals and occasions
- Support the senior team: replenishment, visual upkeep, and an impeccably presented floor
- Support inventory operations: receiving and unpacking deliveries, barcoding, steaming, and keeping the stockroom organized
- Retrieve merchandise and replenish the floor throughout the day, including from our lower-level stockroom
Requirements
- 2+ years of retail sales experience; luxury, boutique, or childrenswear a strong plus
- A gracious, professional, and composed manner with high-expectations clientele
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong attention to detail and organizational habits
- Comfort with POS systems and basic computer skills
- Comfortable with the physical aspects of boutique work, including carrying merchandise and being on your feet
- Full-time availability including minimum one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) each week
Benefits
- $50,000–$60,000 annual salary, based on experience
- Two weeks paid vacation
- Employee discount on clothing
- Boutique hours 10am–6pm — no late retail nights
