    About Company

Mike's Bikes was recently named a “Best Place to Work” by the NorthBay Business Journal and recognized as one of “America’s Best Bike Shops” by the National Bicycle Dealers Association. We push ourselves to be the best of the best and it starts with hiring the right people. Come and check out our award winning company culture and core values. Mike's Bikes is a growing family of local bike shops operating throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento Region, all with a singular purpose—to get more people on bikes. Our company culture is built around the bike—we're both consummate experts and enthusiastic evangelists, and we like to keep it all in perspective with a sense of humor too. Our environment is a place that values fresh ideas and creative thinking in addition to being fast-paced and demanding. Each of our twelve stores dominates its local market and we're now the largest local bike shop in America and the #1 dealer for Specialized. We're proud to have built what we believe is the best family of world-class bike shops you'll find anywhere! Our staff members will tell you that Mike’s Bikes is a great place to work. We offer one of the most competitive compensation packages in our industry. Pay is based on experience and talent. We offer medical and dental benefits to full-time employees as well as a 401K plan with company matching, and paid vacation time. Mike's Bikes pays all of our employees 10 cents per mile to ride their bikes. Yes, really!

Working for Mike’s Bikes isn’t just a job at a bike shop--it is a career in the bicycle industry. Our employee development path allows for upward mobility from sales, tech, and management in our local shops to opportunities at our brand headquarters. All employees attend the 2-day Mike’s Bikes University to learn our culture, product, and processes—with group rides afterward. Other company-sponsored training includes brand-specific and fitting seminars as well as training to help match bikes perfectly with riders.

If you are open to new ideas and excited about participating in an environment where delivering an outstanding customer experience is our guiding principle, check us out. And if you're passionate about bicycles, you’ll fit right in!
