POSITION SUMMARY The Solar Applications Engineer works closely with the sales group to prepare timely and accurate commercial proposals and technical specifications for the Commercial & Industrial, and Utility-scale solar projects and battery energy storage system projects. The Sales Applications Engineer role creates a network of relationships with customers and vendors, defines solutions that include hardware and software requirements for Solar PV projects. In addition, the Sales Applications Engineer acts as a resource to C&I customers, and/or Utility-scale project customers to assist FIMER in becoming qualified as a PV inverter/solution provider of choice. Additionally, the Sales Applications Engineer prepares/delivers presentations at technical conferences and meetings with clients, provides technical guidance in the preparation, review, and final commercial proposal generation to customer, and tracks competitor's offerings.
