Job Position: Sales Assistant

Location: Fargo, ND 58104

Pay Rate: $17.00/hr w/bump when meet designated training metrics

Shift: Monday - Friday 9am-6pm (8 hour shift)

Sales Associate:
Locally owned and operated company is looking for a Sales Assistant. This customer-centric position will assist with selling car audio, marine audio, window tinting, remote starters, vehicle security systems and more. The qualified candidate will work the showroom and front counter to generate product and installation sales, answer incoming calls, and work directly with owner and management on special projects.

Sales Associate Qualifications/Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficient in computers and have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 365/Quickbooks (general)
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and walk for multiple hours in a shift (they do have stools behind the counter)
Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
Ability to speak a second language a plus
Able to read and understand vehicle schematics
Able to obtain an MECP (Mobile Electronics Certified Professional) Certificate in the first 365 days

Responsibilities:
Customer service & sales
Answer phone calls using the specified method. Greet all walk-in clientele within 3-5 seconds of entering the store
Gather clientele information and work up estimate pertaining to their needs, wants, and budget for all potential projects
Demonstrate knowledge by recommending products and packages tailored to client s requirements
Research products for client projects and bring new potential products to sales, management, and ownership for review
Work events on and offsite after normal business hours
Ability to do outside sales and client engagement

Product Knowledge and training:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new products, features, and industry trends
Participate in vendor an/or internal training to stay informed about the latest technologies and methods
Explain technical features in a customer-friendly manner
Instruct clients on product/s when picking up

Inventory & Merchandising:
Ensure product displays are clean, attractive, and current (dusting, cleaning windows/displays of fingerprints, and organizing literature)
Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock

Collaboration with Manager/Technicians:
Coordinate with the sales team and technicians to ensure proper scheduling and customer expectations
Accurately record customer installation requests and system specifications

Customer Support & Follow-up:
Address post-sale customer questions, returns or issues
Follow up with customers after installation to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business

Administrative Tasks:
Prepare estimates and invoices
Maintain accurate records of sales and customer interactions
Help with reporting sales tracking
