Basic Job Functions:

The role of the Sales Associate includes but is not limited to generating various daily/weekly/monthly sales & marketing reports, processing customer orders, dispatching shipments, managing available inventory, maintaining pricing, approve billing and provide customer support as needed, assisting sales team wherever workload demands, maintaining/ordering office supplies. organizing customer visits, and answering incoming phone calls for the sales department.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office
• 4-year Degree in Business, Marketing or related study, or 12 months of steel related experience
• Able to work scheduled/unscheduled overtime

Preferred Qualifications:

• Flat Rolled Steel knowledge
• Customer service experience
