SALES ASSOCIATE - ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Stoney Creek Ace Hardware in Whitsett, NC is looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused Sales Associate with hands-on electrical and plumbing experience to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in locating and selecting electrical and plumbing products, parts, and supplies
• Provide expert advice and troubleshooting guidance for electrical wiring, fixtures, pipe fittings, and related projects
• Maintain product knowledge across a wide range of hardware categories to support upselling and cross-selling
• Stock, organize, and merchandise electrical and plumbing departments to ensure a clean and shoppable floor
• Process customer transactions accurately at the register using POS systems
• Build lasting customer relationships through friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful service
• Receive and process incoming inventory and assist with store stocking as needed

Requirements:

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in electrical and/or plumbing trades or related field
• Ability to read and interpret basic wiring diagrams, pipe schematics, or product specifications
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Retail or hardware store experience is a plus
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Computer skills required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
