Sales Associate

Duties and responsibilities:

- Greet and assists customers in a courteous, enthusiastic, helpful and timely manner

- Maintain and convey excellent product knowledge of our healthy foods

- Actively learn and promote the many varieties of jerky that we sell

- Actively interact and engage with customers

- Accurately administer the Point of Sale (PoS) system

- Always demonstrating proper cash handling best practices

- Upholds store maintenance standards

- Follows safety and security guidelines as provided by the manager/owner

- Restocking merchandise in an efficient and timely manner.

- Perform opening and closing procedures

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

- Professional appearance and manner

-Excellent verbal communications skills, especially the ability to describe our products to the customer

- Strong interpersonal skills

- Excellent math and cash handling skills

- Experience on cloud-based POS system

- 2 years retail sales experience

- High school diploma required, some college preferred
