Fueguia 1833 is seeking an exceptional Part-Time Sales Associate to join our Madison Avenue gallery. As an ambassador of the project, you will be at the heart of the client experience, guiding guests through an intimate and deeply personal olfactive journey rooted in ethnobotanical exploration, artisanal craftsmanship, and a deep reverence for nature.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver a bespoke, high-touch client experience by welcoming guests, actively listening to their needs, and guiding them through personalized perfume consultations
• \n
• Develop and maintain a loyal client base through consistent outreach, clienteling, and follow-up communications
• \n
• Demonstrate deep expertise in perfume families, scent notes, and the brand’s heritage, ingredients, and philosophy
• \n
• Showcase Fueguia 1833’s full product portfolio across perfume and home categories, offering curated recommendations and crafting memorable moments for each client
• \n
• Drive sales through strategic cross-selling, building meaningful and lasting client relationships
• \n
• Participate in in-store events, master classes, and product launches to drive engagement and reinforce brand identity
• \n
• Provide attentive after-sales service to ensure lasting client satisfaction
• \n
• Follow up on customer requests and inquiries in a timely manner, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience
• \n
• Consistently contribute to team and store sales goals
• \n
• Curate and maintain visually compelling product displays that reflect Fueguia 1833’s aesthetic and brand DNA
• \n
• Ensure personal image and grooming standards are consistent with Fueguia 1833’s luxury positioning
• \n
• Support the Store Lead with inventory management: shipment receiving, transfers, cycle counts, and stock organization
• \n
• Assist with e-commerce order fulfillment, including picking, packing, and preparing shipments, as well as following up on customer inquiries and requests
• \n
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and back of house
• \n

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

\n

• \n
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in luxury retail, perfume, or beauty; niche perfumery experience strongly preferred
• \n
• Genuine passion for perfume, with knowledge of scent composition, olfactory families, and perfumery culture
• \n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills — able to connect with a diverse, discerning clientele
• \n
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• \n
• Strong clienteling instincts with the ability to cultivate lasting relationships
• \n
• Polished, professional presentation in line with luxury brand standards
• \n
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced boutique environment
• \n
• Dependable, punctual, and flexible — availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays required
• \n
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); POS system experience a plus
• \n
• Spanish or other language proficiency a plus
• \n
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
