Role Summary
This position is ideal for someone looking to enter the medical device sales profession as a Sales Associate at Align Technology. The sales associate program is a full-time paid position that offers an accelerated development track to a career in field sales. This includes:
- Formal and on-the-job training with certification milestones
- Field co-travel observations
- Sales-based projects
- Minimum of one field coverage assignment
- Plus additional steps and assignments as needed
The program is based at our Morrisville, NC office. Those participating must relocate to the Raleigh-Durham area for the duration up to 12 months. Upon completion, you will be eligible to apply for one of our Associate Territory Manager positions. You are expected to relocate to that area within the United States once you successfully land your role.
Role Expectations
- Complete a comprehensive training and immersion program within the 12-month timeframe.
- Complete and pass applied knowledge and skills certifications.
- Proactively own individual development and actively participate in all program activities.
- Actively connect with customers virtually to promote Aligns product portfolio.
- Secure new business and manage existing select business accounts in the market while developing the skills and tools needed to transition from program to sales position successfully.
- Work closely with the sales management team and benefit from their experience, ongoing coaching, assessment, and support.
- Participate in sales and marketing related initiatives as needed.
- Provide temporary field sales coverage in assigned territories (minimum of one).
- Relocate to another US market after completing the program.
- Must be in good standing and meet program criteria to apply for Associate Territory Manager positions.
