Sales Associate

POSITION

I am looking for a Flooring Sales Professional for a small privately owned flooring store in Northwest Central Ohio. Looking for a motivated, personable sales professional to work with customer in our showroom and at the customers home, business or jobsite.

The ideal candidate must provide excellent customer service, strong sales skills and the ability to manage a project from initial consultation through installation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet customer in our showroom
• Determine customer needs, preferences and budget
• Recommend products and explain features / benefits
• Schedule measurement and provide accurate / timely estimate
• Coordinate material ordering with vendors and installation with our installers
• Build a relationship with contractors, remodelers, designers, realtors, etc.
• Stay current on the latest flooring products and trends

QUALIFICATIONS

• Flooring sales experience preferred. Construction, Home-Improvement sales considered
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Basic computer knowledge
• Active / experinced with all social media formats

COMPENSATION

Base Salary Plus Commission
