Sales Associate - Monumental Food

Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and hungry Sales Associate to support our sales team in driving revenue and ensuring seamless event execution. The ideal candidate will assist in all aspects of the sales process, from initial client contact to post-event follow-up, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and outstanding customer service.
 


Key Responsibilities:
·       Assist in prospecting and qualifying leads for catering opportunities
·       Coordinate with clients to gather event requirements, preferences, and budgets
·       Prepare and present proposals, menus, and contracts to clients
·       Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful event planning and execution
·       Maintain accurate client records, contracts, and event details
·       Coordinate on-site at events, including evenings and weekends as needed
·       Assist in post-event activities, including feedback collection and client follow-up
·       Provide general administrative support to the sales team as needed
·       Other duties as assigned
 


Desired Qualifications:
·       Previous experience in catering sales, hospitality, or event planning preferred
·       Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Minimum Qualifications:
·      Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
 


Travel: You may be required to attend off-site events as needed.
 


Working Conditions: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Job often operates at off-site locations which may be outdoors and subject to all weather conditions including heat, rain, moisture, slippery surfaces, cold, uneven walking surfaces, etc.
  


Compensation: The salary range for this position is $50-60k. An additional commission percentage will be evaluated at 6-months of employment.
