Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and engage them in conversation to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Utilize comprehensive product knowledge to effectively present and demonstrate merchandise, highlighting key features and benefits.
  • Employ proven selling techniques to close sales and achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Operate the point of sale system accurately, including cash handling and processing various payment methods.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and organization, ensuring a welcoming and appealing shopping environment.
  • Assist with stocking merchandise and merchandising displays to enhance product visibility and drive sales.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals and support overall store performance.
  • Participate in loss prevention efforts to safeguard store assets and minimize shrinkage.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy retail setting.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of retail sales principles and practices.
  • General knowledge of merchandising and visual presentation standards.
  • Thorough knowledge of effective selling techniques and customer engagement strategies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of English language, both written and verbal, for clear communication.
  • Demonstrated ability in cash handling and operating a cash register.
  • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and build rapport with diverse clientele.
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise up to a specified weight, demonstrating adequate lifting ability.
  • Proficiency in general mathematics for accurate transactions and calculations.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and orderliness in the work area.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with point of sale (POS) systems.
  • Previous experience in stocking merchandise and inventory management.
