Essential Functions of the Verizon Sales Associate Role:

  • Initiate direct customer outreach in designated areas, presenting Verizon's wireless, internet, and TV solutions with clarity and impact. 
  • Stay current on all residential products, plans, features, and offers to support confident, informed selling.
  • Conduct customer consultations to assess connectivity needs and recommend tailored service packages.

Education & Experience Needed for the Verizon Sales Associate Role:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; college coursework or an Associate’s degree in a related field is a plus. 
  • 0–2 years’ experience in direct sales, retail, promotions, brand representation, or customer-facing environments.
  • Telecommunications exposure is preferred but not required, comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S., with readiness for a performance-driven role.
  • Comfortable using mobile devices, tablets, and learning CRM and digital sales platforms.
  • Strong verbal communication and people skills, with a natural ability to connect and engage.
  • Self-driven and adaptable, with a proactive mindset and willingness to build customer relationships.
