Title: Sales Center Shipper
Pay: $18.00/hr, paid weekly
Hours: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday | 10:00 AM 7:00 PM
Location: 5632 Barbados Blvd, Castle Hayne, NC 28429
Overview
Join a fast-paced bakery distribution team responsible for preparing, organizing, and shipping products to support daily delivery operations. This role is ideal for dependable individuals who enjoy warehouse work, inventory management, and physical activity in a team-oriented environment.
Job Description
- Load and unload baked goods and other products for distribution.
- Verify incoming and outgoing product counts for accuracy.
- Sort, stage, and organize products for delivery routes.
- Update inventory records using computerized inventory systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales center.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Perform additional warehouse and distribution duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Previous shipping, warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, stack, and unstack up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Basic computer skills for inventory transactions.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Comfortable working around warehouse equipment, cleaning chemicals, and in a warm, noisy environment.
- Flexible to work weekends, holidays, rotating schedules, and non-consecutive days off.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work 8+ hour shifts.
