Job Description

SUMMARY The Sales & Channel Analyst will support the growth and development of Amphenol CDI's global distribution network through a combination of data analytics, commercial support, partner engagement, and program execution. This role is designed for a highly analytical, motivated individual who wants to learn the business from both a data and commercial perspective. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with numbers and identifying trends but also possesses the communication skills, curiosity, and personality to build relationships with distributor partners, customers, and internal teams. The Distribution & Channel Analyst will develop a strong understanding of distributor performance, pricing, inventory, quoting activity, customer demand, and market trends while helping translate that information into commercial action. The position will also have direct exposure to distributor partners through regular communication, business reviews, site visits, and industry events. As experience and knowledge grow, the individual will take increasing ownership of distributor relationships, strategy, partner development, and the overall distribution program. This position provides significant exposure to Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Operations, and senior leadership and is intended to develop broader commercial and business leadership capabilities. Turn data into actionable insights and recommendations that support distribution strategy, pricing, inventory, and sales growth. Work directly with distributor partners to understand their business, customers, opportunities, inventory needs, and areas where CDI can better support growth. Prepare for and participate in distributor business reviews, including performance reporting, opportunity pipelines, inventory discussions, and follow-up actions. Support distributor pricing, price lists, agreements, program requirements, and annual pricing activities. Partner with Inside Sales, Regional Sales Managers, Product Management, Marketing, and Operations to support distributor opportunities and customer requirements. Support the identification, evaluation, onboarding, and development of new distribution partners as CDI continues to expand its channel network. Develop relationships with distributor sales teams through regular communication, training, site visits, and industry events, taking on greater customer-facing responsibility as experience grows. Continuously look for ways to improve the distribution program, automate reporting, improve visibility, identify new growth opportunities, and crush the numbers.
