The Role
As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will help customers find the right vehicle to fit their needs and budget while delivering a transparent, professional, and enjoyable buying experience. You'll represent the J. Allen brand by building lasting customer relationships and guiding customers through every step of the sales process.
What You'll Do
- Assist customers in selecting the new or pre-owned vehicle that best meets their needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers through exceptional service before, during, and after the sale.
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting and responding to leads through vehicle delivery and follow-up.
- Demonstrate vehicle features and benefits through walkarounds and test drives.
- Maintain knowledge of current inventory, product features, manufacturer incentives, and financing options.
- Utilize CRM tools to track customer interactions and ensure timely follow-up.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales, customer satisfaction, and performance goals.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the dealership with integrity and enthusiasm.
- Participate in ongoing product knowledge and sales training.
What You Bring to the Table
- Previous automotive sales experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude with a customer-first mindset.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed.
- Ability to build rapport and earn customer trust.
- Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, and digital sales tools.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
