Job Summary
The Sales Consultant is directly responsible for securing new business and managing relationships with new & existing customers. Our Sales Consultants are responsible for identifying customer needs, developing technical options for the customer's consideration and ensuring the business has all relevent information to ensure a safe and efficient installation process.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors to the Shoppe and work with them to identify their needs
- Make outbound telephone calls to customers to talk with them to identify their needs and move the sales process forward
- Answer inbound telephone calls and field questions
- Input customer information into our CRM
- Manage follow-up with customers via email and phone
- Research product options and develop quotes for customer review
- Create sales invoices
- Effectively communicate with rest of organization about each project sold
- Support our OSHA compliance and maintain OSHA records
- Assist in warehouse as needed
- Perform other office and sales tasks and cross-train as needed
- Learn about the products we sell and keep up with new offerings
- Keep showroom clean and well presented
- Achieve sales targets
- Keep marketing materials up-to-date
- Occasional Saturday work may be required
Qualifications
- Some experience in construction or construction-related sales with an emphasis on technical knowledge and high customer service
- Willingness to work effectively and demonstrate perseverance, high integreity and attention to detail
- Enjoy working as a member of a team
- Honest, hard working, able and willing to learn
