Sales Contracts Manager, Procurement

As part of the Commercial Contracting Center of Excellence team, the Manager of Sales Contracts will lead and support all Sales Contracting efforts on behalf of Best Buy Ads/Retail Media Network business. The responsibilities include working internally with cross-functional teams to define and use processes supporting successful contracting to grow Best Buy Ads/Retail Media Network revenue while also negotiating externally with customers and their respective agencies.

This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site Monday through Thursday at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You can work virtually from home or another non‑Best Buy location on Friday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you'll do

• Sales Contract Execution to enable the Business's revenue goals for Best Buy Ads/Retail Media Network sales opportunities, including redlining, negotiations, execution, terminations, and renewals in support of business growth goals, working cross-functionally for contracting elements such as risk, privacy and legal.
• Change Management that adds value and drive sustainable change to Best Buy Ads teams. Responsibility for influencing contracting standards, reporting metrics, results, etc. Includes areas such as influencing contracting standards, audits, and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide leadership and experience in analyzing and responding to RFP requirements and other sales enablement processes.
• Manage and lead contracting professionals in their execution of contracts and other sales enabling activities. This includes, modeling proficient contracting processes to successfully contract with customers and/or agencies and other people manager responsibilities.
• Training and education of new ways of working while also training and educating the Ads business sales teams on the correct contracting process to get business deals successfully closed as quickly as possible.
• Communicate both written and oral, with clarity to drive the best possible Best Buy outcomes both internally and externally in the entire contract lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of contracting experience (sales or procurement)
• 1+years of Creative, Media, Ads, or Production marketing experience
• 2+years of project program experience
• Strong organization, communication, and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 or more years of supervisory/people leadership experience
• 1 or more years of agency management or agency experience
• Possess natural curiosity, asking questions when necessary to understand a problem
• Demonstrated ability to self-start
