Sales Coordinator
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Primary Territory: Big Rapids and areas north
Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
Work Arrangement: Hybrid with extensive travel
Travel: Approximately 80%
Our client is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support large gas utility expansion projects across North Central Michigan. This role will work closely with a tight-knit sales team and will focus on direct customer outreach, door-to-door sales, easement support, and coordination with internal project teams to help achieve annual expansion goals.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with extensive driving, regular overnight travel, and direct interaction with prospective customers. Most of the work will take place in Big Rapids and north, so candidates located in North Central Michigan are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities include conducting door-to-door sales outreach, communicating with prospective customers, assisting with easement-related efforts, coordinating with project and operations teams, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting overall project goals. This position requires strong communication skills, professionalism, creativity, independence, and basic Microsoft Office skills.
Candidates must have a valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance. Candidates must also be able to pay upfront for gas, food, and lodging while traveling. Travel-related expenses are reimbursed weekly.
