ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Input all groups into the reservation systemInput and update all rooming listsSet up group and preferred account routing to ensure accurate billingBuild house accounts for meeting rooms and group blocksEnsure credit cards are on file and authorize them the week prior to the eventAct as the on-site contact for site tours and large group arrivals as neededManage incoming calls and emails for group updates, changes, and requestsPerform front desk duties, including but not limited to guest check-in, in-house guest review, housekeeping support, guest check-out and folio review, and guest inquiries and requestsWork approximately 20 hours per week in sales support functions and 20 hours per week in front desk support functionsSome evening and weekend shifts required MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlinesComputer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand during front desk shiftsAvailability for some evening and weekend shifts PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: (Not Required for Application)Two years of hotel experiencePrevious catering, sales, or customer service-related experience BENEFITS:Health and dental insurance401(k) optionsAccrued PTOTuition assistanceVision, flexible spending account, life, and short- and long-term disability insurance
