Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing New York-based company, for an entry-level Sales Coordinator to join their team on-site in Manhattan. Day to day, you will support the sales team with order processing, client communications, scheduling, and reporting, acting as the glue that keeps deals moving smoothly from first contact to closed sale. People who thrive in this role are organized, detail-oriented, comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and energized by working closely with both customers and an internal sales team.
Responsibilities
Support the sales team with day-to-day administrative and coordination tasks
Process sales orders and ensure accuracy of customer account information
Maintain and update CRM records with client interactions and deal status
Schedule client meetings, calls, and product demonstrations for account executives
Prepare sales reports, proposals, and presentation materials
Respond to routine customer inquiries and route complex issues to the right team member
Track orders from submission through delivery and flag any delays
Coordinate with marketing and operations teams on sales collateral and inventory needs
Assist with onboarding new clients and maintaining account documentation
Monitor sales pipeline data and help prepare weekly team updates
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce is a plus
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor
Comfortable working on-site in a collaborative team setting
Prior internship or entry-level office experience preferred but not required
