Our client is an established export broker with a global footprint, specializing in organic food products and serving customers across more than 40 countries. Known for long-term stability and a commitment to quality, this organization plays a meaningful role in connecting organic food suppliers with international markets. They are currently seeking a detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join their remote team and serve as a critical hub for international order management and export documentation. This is a role that offers genuine long-term career stability for the right candidate — the previous individual in this position held it for 16 years.
Key Responsibilities
Process and track inbound and outbound orders, managing 30–40 concurrent orders across varying stages of completion
Prepare and manage international export documentation, including commercial invoices and original documents requiring manufacturer stamps and signatures for customs clearance, banking, and Letter of Credit (LC) transactions
Maintain accurate records and bookkeeping related to orders and transactions
Support profit and loss (P&L) tracking and reporting responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, communicating order status and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner
Follow established processes consistently while identifying and recommending opportunities for improvement
Navigate country-specific regulatory requirements for international trade documentation across a diverse global customer base
Required Qualifications
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets) and MS Outlook
Proven experience creating and managing order documentation
Demonstrated experience preparing international export documentation, including commercial invoices, customs paperwork, and Letter of Credit transactions
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to track multiple orders and priorities simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer-facing interactions
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in a remote setting
Ability to follow structured processes and execute them consistently and accurately
Comfort with bookkeeping and basic financial tracking
Openness to adopting and adapting to new technologies and systems
Preferred Qualifications
Background in the food industry, particularly organic food
Familiarity with international trade compliance and customs requirements
Compensation
$200–$300 monthly stipend
