About the Role:
As a Sales & Design Consultant at Bumble Bee Blinds, you will be responsible for selling window-covering products to residential and commercial clients in your market. You will help build a clientele, drive sales revenue, and back the company on standards, quality, and professionalism. A successful Sales & Design Consultant will hold oneself to high customer service standards while being detail-oriented, organized, creative, ambitious, and very personable. You will use your strong listening and communication skills, as well as intellectual capital and a sale driven mindset to present innovative solutions to prospective customers. The Sales & Design Consultant reports directly to the General Manager.

You are a self-starter and love the process of hunting down and closing sales. You are highly organized with superior attention to detail. You are a strong team player and can excel in a fast-paced environment while delivering quality outcomes. You communicate with BBB leadership and customers in a calm, professional manner.
Your Qualifications:
· 1+ year of experience in self-generated lead sales, commercial sales, or customer service.
· Experience in interior design or home services sales is a plus but not required.
· Very comfortable interfacing with potential customers in residential and commercial spaces.
· Strong working knowledge of common computer software including but not limited to: MS Outlook Word, Excel, and CRM programs.
· Very detail oriented, organized, and can keep efficient notes and records.
· An understanding of home services or product sales is a plus.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills including and understanding basic grammar and writing.
· Friendly demeanor towards every customer and colleague.
· Ability to work independently.
· Must have a valid driver’s license.
· High School diploma required; college degree preferred.
Sales Consultant Responsibilities:
· Provides reliable, high-quality customer support.
· Drive leads and conduct lead generation activities like local canvassing.
· Perform in-home consultations, customer instruction on various window covering options and functionality, and measurements to provide estimates.
· Develop relationships with customers to find the best window solutions for desired space.
· Leverage Bumble Bee Blinds innovative technology to meet customers’ needs.
· Build and nurture strong networking relationships with new clients, existing clients, interior designers, realtors, and builders in the local market.
· Responsible for maintaining, updating, and communicating client data, project status, and job details.
· Utilizes customer information, materials, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.
· Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
· Maintain constant communication between all departments, as well as customers, on current work orders.
· Participate in regular sales meetings, webinars, and training.
· Arrive on time to work and any/all appointments and meetings.
· Occasional participation in local promotional activities to support business development (which may take place during evenings and/or weekends).
Hive Perks:
· Starting base salary range: $30,000 - $40,000 per year + Sales commission
· Potential to earn incremental commission on self-generated leads

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The associate in this role should be able to stand, sit at an office space, see, hear, and understand speech, communicate, lift computer equipment, supplies and materials, use office equipment and computers. The associate is exposed to typical office working conditions. Occasional ladder climbing and lifting of 30-50 lbs. Ample hand-eye coordination and flexibility to twist and access hard to reach corners to install and adjust hardware.
