Sales Desk Manager

Lockhart Cadillac, a luxury Cadillac franchise dealership, is seeking an experienced, motivated Sales Desk Manager to lead our sales team and deliver an exceptional client experience. This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven automotive sales leader who thrives in a high-performance environment and understands the expectations of an affluent clientele.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of automotive sales experience

  • Minimum 3 years of automotive sales management experience

  • Luxury automotive dealership experience preferred, but not required

  • Previous dealership desking experience is required

  • Strong knowledge of dealership management systems (DMS) and CRM platforms

  • Ability to recruit, hire, train, and develop successful sales consultants

  • Experience appraising trade-ins and structuring vehicle deals

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to conduct daily sales meetings and motivate a sales team

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships with an affluent, discerning customer base

  • Commitment to delivering a first-class luxury buying experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage all daily sales desk operations

  • Structure and finalize vehicle transactions

  • Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train new sales professionals

  • Coach and develop the sales team to achieve dealership goals

  • Monitor CRM activity and ensure consistent customer follow-up

  • Accurately appraise customer trade-ins

  • Conduct daily sales meetings while providing ongoing training and performance coaching

  • Work closely with Finance and dealership leadership to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership profitability

  • Ensure every customer interaction reflects the premium standards and reputation of the Cadillac brand
