As an Associate, Growth Merchant Lead (aGML) for Emerging Markets, you will play a crucial role in winning new business and contributing to our overall growth strategy. Your primary focus will be on establishing new partnerships with local and regional restaurants, enhancing our reach in untapped markets. This field sales position requires face-to-face interactions and involves significant travel within the territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Expand the DoorDash footprint in emerging markets, primarily in rural areas.
• Sell the value of partnering with DoorDash to restaurant owners and negotiate revenue share agreements.
• Excel in a fast-paced, transactional deal cycle to close new business swiftly.
• Coordinate with a Regional Sales Manager and utilize sales tools effectively.
• Travel extensively within the assigned territory, with travel costs covered by the company.

Requirements

• 2.5 years of sales experience in a closing sales role or related experience.
• Ability to travel to destination markets at least 50% of the time.
• Efficient and strategic in using inside and outside sales tactics to achieve goals.

Preferences

• Experience selling to SMBs, especially in the restaurant or food/beverage industry.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build strategies and playbooks for scalable success.
