Join our team as an Associate, Growth Merchant Lead (aGML) for Emerging Markets, and become a driving force behind expanding our footprint in untapped markets. Based in the vibrant city of Buffalo, NY, you'll have the opportunity to explore and develop partnerships with local and regional restaurants.

As a part of our Outside Sales team, you will be responsible for winning new business and contributing to DoorDash's growth strategy. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, with a focus on face-to-face transactions and travel throughout your assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Travel to emerging markets, primarily in rural areas, to expand DoorDash's presence.
• Sell the value of partnering with DoorDash to restaurant owners and negotiate revenue share agreements.
• Excel in a fast-paced, transactional deal cycle, closing new business within days.

Requirements

• 2.5 years of sales experience in a closing sales role or related experience.
• Ability to travel extensively, meeting with restaurant owners at least 50% of the time.
• Proficiency in inside and outside sales tactics to achieve goals.

Preferences

• Experience selling to SMBs, especially in the restaurant or food/beverage sectors.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a knack for building scalable strategies and playbooks.

Compensation: Base pay plus commission for each new restaurant partnership. On Target Earnings (OTE) for commissions are $1900 per month, with uncapped potential.
