Red Seat Ventures partners with the world's top creators across multiple genres to grow and monetize their content - through advertising, subscription, live events, and beyond. We take a multiplatform approach spanning podcasting, video, FAST, and more, backed by our own proprietary tech stack including Supercast (subscription) and Speakeasy (hosting, distribution, and monetization).

ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a Sales Development Manager dedicated exclusively to our rapidly expanding Podcast & Audio Creator portfolio. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of podcast ad sales, revenue partnerships, and creator monetization. You will be responsible for transforming client marketing objectives into multi-platform podcast sponsorships. Acting as the strategic backbone for our sales executives, you will carve out and bring innovative ideas to the table that unlock custom budget across holding company agencies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Podcast Strategy & Sponsorship Packaging

• Custom Proposals: Architect both proactive and reactive custom campaigns tailored to brand objectives using our entire podcast audio and video ecosystem.
• Inventory Packaging: Creatively package podcast inventory; including pre-roll, mid-roll, post-roll, and personal endorsements integrations around spiked interest periods throughout the year.
• Multi-Platform Extensions: Integrate and build audio sponsorships with digital video (YouTube), social media extensions, events and distribution across streaming platforms.
• Executive Storytelling: Build high-impact, visually compelling pitch presentations that are client-facing and best in class.

Sales Enablement & Monetization Growth

• Marketing Support: Reporting directly to Revenue Partnerships, partner directly with Creator Partnerships, Sales Leadership and Account Executives to build narratives that support both creator's initiatives and brand initiatives.
• Market Intelligence: Work with Sales Research and Sales Marketing to monitor digital audio trends, creator economics, and competitive pricing benchmarks to maximize revenue per client.
• Proactive Pitching: Turn proactive marketplace concepts into scalable, category-specific sales materials to unlock new brand budgets.
• Creator Liaison: Collaborate with internal show producers and top talent to ensure revenue initiatives are met and brand integrations feel organic and brand-safe.
• GTM Strategy and Framework: Coordinate cross-functionally with multiple teams to establish service level agreements, product minimums and streamline a process for GTM strategy for each show in the portfolio.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4-7+ years in media/advertising sales development, media planning, digital audio partnerships, or agency-side audio buying.
• Deep knowledge of the podcast landscape, including host-read dynamics, programmatic audio and attribution tools.
• Fluency with audience data and podcast analytics to evaluate campaign ROI and optimize ad spend.
• Outstanding written and presentation skills, with a proven ability to pitch high-level media buyers and brand directors.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment backed by the enterprise scale of Fox Corporation.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $114,000.00-133,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
