Inbound Sales Development Representative

About the Role
Our client is hiring an Inbound Sales Development Representative to join a growing sales team at a fast-moving technology startup.
In this role, youll be the first point of contact for potential customers exploring a modern AI infrastructure platform. Youll qualify inbound leads, uncover customer needs, and partner closely with Account Executives to create high-quality sales opportunities.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their sales career who is curious about AI, excited to work with technical products, and motivated to build strong foundational skills in customer engagement, discovery, and go-to-market execution.
What Youll Do- Qualify inbound leads from website inquiries, marketing campaigns, and other inbound channels
- Conduct discovery to understand each prospects business goals, workflows, and technical needs
- Manage inbound leads from initial contact through sales-qualified opportunity
- Maintain accurate lead, activity, and pipeline data in CRM and sales engagement tools
- Partner with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoffs and a strong prospect experience
- Collaborate with Marketing to provide feedback on lead quality, campaign performance, and conversion opportunities
- Learn the companys product and market well enough to communicate value to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Track engagement metrics and share insights that help improve inbound qualification and targeting
- Contribute to process improvements as the sales organization continues to scale
What Were Looking For- 12 years of experience in an SDR, BDR, lead generation, sales, recruiting, customer success, or other client-facing role preferred
- Strong communication skills across phone, video, email, and chat
- Ability to listen well, ask thoughtful questions, and quickly understand customer needs
- Genuine curiosity about AI, emerging technology, infrastructure, or developer-focused products
- Highly motivated, organized, and comfortable working toward goals
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of inbound activity
- Positive, collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn
- Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment where processes are still being built
- Interest in growing within a sales or go-to-market career path

Compensation & Benefits
The expected compensation range for this role is $52,500$63,000 base salary, with $75,000$90,000 OTE, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
