Sales Development Representative Gaithersburg, MD

We're seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help identify new business opportunities. As an SDR, your primary responsibility is to reach out, make calls, and send emails to contacts that qualify as potential users and buyers of Graphical Networks software. You will uncover sales opportunities, conduct the first meeting pitch of the offerings, and set qualified meetings for the Account Executives to close the deals. You'll utilize new and existing sources of leads, as well as cold outbound outreach strategies to contact prospects via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other forms of communication methods to uncover opportunities at organizations that could benefit from our software. The ideal candidate is a type A, extraverted, high-energy individual who can demonstrate solid, professional sales and lead generation aptitude, skills, and temperament. This individual is highly self-motivated, demonstrates successful cold call skills, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, a solid work ethic, and the ability/willingness to learn. What you have:

Possesses a track record of being a self-starter and a 'go get-er' Dynamic, high energy, self-motivated, creative thinker Articulate, confident, and a personable team player Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience in and willing to do conduct high daily call volume Proven, proactive self-starter with the capability to take ownership and work effectively within assigned campaigns with limited management supervision Ability to operate in a highly competitive environment Preferred skills, but not necessary:

1+ year of lead generation/inside sales/cold calling experience, preferably business-to-business/targeted accounts Prior experience with IT Management Tools Prior experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools

What you'll do:

Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to achieve the defined business objectives Be a partner to the Go-to-Market team to continuously evaluate and affect the team and goal performance Perform the necessary calling, emailing, and qualification to create follow-up meetings for the sales organization Generate qualified leads through cold calling and other prospecting techniques, to a targeted database, and effectively transition them into strong sales opportunities for the external sales team Understand and effectively communicate the Graphical Networks value proposition and targeted message. Maintain an awareness of accounts and industries as part of general prospecting practices. Meet or exceed assigned targets while adhering to all company requirements.

Graphical Networks is headquartered in Gaithersburg, Maryland, and the SDR is expected to be in the office 5-days a week, working side-by-side with the sales team. Apply
