You're not cold calling strangers. Every person you call already raised their hand and requested an insurance quote. Your job is to reach them fast, qualify their needs, and get them booked with one of our licensed producers before a competitor beats you to the phone. This is a high-activity, metrics-driven role for someone who's energized by call volume, comfortable with rejection, and wants a fast path into a licensed sales career.

Responsibilities
- Call inbound leads (web/aggregator-generated) within minutes of request speed-to-lead is everything in this role
- Run a structured qualifying conversation: confirm coverage type needed, current situation, timeline, and contact preferences
- Schedule qualified leads with a licensed producer for the actual quote and policy discussion
- Log every call outcome, disposition, and follow-up in our CRM
- Hit daily/weekly call volume and booked-appointment targets
- Follow up with no-shows, no-answers, and not-yet-ready leads on a defined cadence
- Stay strictly within scope: qualify and schedule you will not discuss premiums, coverage comparisons, or policy terms (Texas and Arizona require an insurance license for that conversation, and this role is unlicensed)
Requirements
- 1+ years phone-based sales, appointment-setting, or customer service (insurance/financial services a plus, not required)
- Comfortable making 60+ outbound calls a day
- Strong listener you can build rapport in 30 seconds and know when to stop talking
- Organized: you don't let leads go cold because you forgot to follow up
- Coachable you'll get a defined script and process, and we expect you to follow it
- No insurance license required for this role but if you're interested in becoming a licensed producer, this is the on-ramp. [Include only if true: "Top performers are considered for licensing sponsorship and a producer career path within 612 months."]
