Position Overview
Volume Logistics is seeking a driven Sales Engineer to help grow business partnerships within the specialized transportation, chemical, and semiconductor logistics industries.
This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, building long-term customer relationships, and helping expand the company's presence within highly specialized supply chains.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Build relationships with customers and industry partners
- Prospect target accounts through calls, emails, networking, and meetings
- Work with leadership and operations teams to provide logistics solutions
- Learn and understand specialized transportation and supply chain operations
- Travel for customer meetings and industry events as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and growth-oriented
- Ability to learn technical industries and communicate professionally
- Chemical distribution, Industrial supply chain, Trucking, or logistics industry experience is a plus, but not required
