Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sales Engineer to support a premier software, research, and consulting firm specializing in industrial-organizational psychology and advanced human resource solutions. This position is 90% remote with occasional on-site presence in Chantilly, VA. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a cutting-edge platform that delivers secure, scalable test administration and assessment solutions to enterprise clients.
The Sales Engineer will act as a technical subject matter expert supporting the pre-sales lifecycle, delivering tailored product demonstrations and translating customer requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Responsibilities for the Solutions Engineer include:
- Support sales teams throughout the pre-sales process
- Convert business and technical needs into solution designs
- Lead discovery discussions to assess workflows, integrations, and security needs
- Present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Assist with RFPs, security documentation, and implementation planning
Required Qualifications for the Solutions Engineer include:
- 3+ years of Sales engineering or similar experience
- Experience in creating demos, sales, development operations, federal acumen, and building configurations.
- Strong background in Azure with working knowledge of AWS cloud environments
- Understanding of system architecture, integrations, and cloud-based applications
- Experience supporting RFPs, demos, and technical sales cycles
- Bachelor's degree preferred (flexible for candidates with high levels of experience)
Compensation for the Solutions Engineer includes:
- Salary Range: 120,000-160,000 depending on experience
