About the Role

The Sales Engineer III – Army is a key technical leader within Everfox’s high‑impact Sales Engineering team. In this role, you will partner directly with customers across the Federal and Intelligence communities to solve complex cybersecurity and data protection challenges.

You will guide customers through technical evaluations, lead pilots, shape solution architecture, and demonstrate the mission value of Everfox’s Cloud and Data Security offerings. This role requires hands‑on experience supporting large‑scale enterprise environments, strong technical fluency, and an ability to navigate complex solution assessments with confidence and clarity.

You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing to ensure technical alignment and customer success.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers and prospects to understand mission requirements and position Everfox solutions for success.
• Lead the end‑to‑end technical sales cycle, including discovery, architecture discussions, proof‑of‑concept execution, and proposal development.
• Deliver compelling technical presentations and demos that clearly articulate Everfox capabilities, value, and differentiation.
• Navigate and resolve technical objections; provide expert guidance on architecture, deployment, integration, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot issues during pilots and configure Everfox solutions to deliver mission‑relevant analytic outcomes.
• Apply hands‑on expertise across key information security domains including web security, email security, secure data transfer, and threat mitigation.
• Work in Windows and Linux environments, performing configuration, testing, and optimization of Everfox products.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful technical evaluations and pilot deployments.
• Support sales pursuits with high‑quality technical content, RFI/RFP responses, and strategy development.
• Build trusted relationships with customer technical teams throughout the sales cycle.
• Represent Everfox at customer meetings, technical deep dives, and industry events (up to 30% travel).

Key Knowledge and Skills

• Strong understanding of enterprise security technologies such as:– Internet security– Anti‑malware tools– Proxy solutions– SIEM, networking, and scripting
• Hands‑on experience in virtualized environments including VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Proficiency with SaaS/cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Ability to articulate product value, technical differentiation, and mission impact to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience supporting RFI/RFP processes and large‑scale enterprise technical evaluations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Highly organized, methodical, and results‑driven; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong relationship‑building and collaboration skills across internal teams, partners, and customers.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure with clarity, resilience, and customer focus.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Sales Engineer supporting enterprise software or cybersecurity solutions.
• Proven success operating within complex technical sales environments.
• Deep understanding of enterprise security technologies and real‑world deployment considerations.
• Strong experience working with Windows, Linux, cloud platforms, and virtualized environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise‑scale pilots, evaluations, and technical validations.
• Active Top Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred.

The actual OTE offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs.
