Job Description
Drive new business development activities across targeted OEM markets.
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing strategic customer accounts.
Build relationships with engineering, procurement, and operations stakeholders.
Identify new applications and opportunities for custom metal manufacturing solutions.
Present technical solutions and communicate product capabilities to customers.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
Collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to develop manufacturable solutions.
Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial presentations.
Support customers from initial concept through production launch.
Develop and maintain customer pipelines, forecasts, and CRM data.
Create sales processes and contribute to the development of the organisation's commercial infrastructure.
Conduct customer visits and represent the business at industry events.
Work closely with executive leadership to execute growth initiatives.
Deliver revenue growth and support market expansion efforts.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, OEM, metal components, metal stamping, fabrication, or engineered products environments.
Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand customer applications.
Experience reading engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Customer-facing experience in sales, applications engineering, account management, or business development.
Ability to balance commercial awareness with technical problem-solving.
Strong relationship-building capabilities with internal and external stakeholders.
Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset.
Desire to help build and improve sales processes.
Proven organisational and project management skills.
Willingness to travel as required.
