JenKem Technology specializes in large scale GMP manufacture of high-quality polyethylene glycol (PEG) derivatives, PEG co-polymers, monodisperse PEGs, and custom synthesis and PEGylation services. The company supplies PEG derivatives for R&D, clinical trials, and commercial applications for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices, and diagnostics marketplaces worldwide since 2001.

This position requires working onsite at our Plano, TX office, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales efforts for PEG products, collaborating closely with the Business Development (BD) and Marketing teams to drive growth.
  • Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and expand the company’s market presence.
  • Act as a liaison for clients by providing product information, answering inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the company’s products and services to effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services, addressing customer needs and resolving issues promptly.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new sales opportunities and contribute to the company's growth.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to provide feedback on sales materials, promotional campaigns, and other collateral to ensure alignment with market needs.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to build sales expertise.
  • Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by sales and marketing leadership to support overall business objectives.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in life sciences, biotechnology, or related industries with a desire to build a career in sales.
  • Understanding of PEG products, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical details to clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to effectively engage with both internal teams and external clients.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software to manage sales activities and track customer interactions.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and adaptable to a dynamic work environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to take initiative and seek guidance when needed.
  • Availability to travel occasionally to support sales efforts and attend industry events.
