Sales Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Applications Engineer with expertise in process optimization, electrical engineering principles/language and project management. The role requires excellent cross-departmental communication skills and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide technical sales support to clients and internal teams.
• Manage and oversee engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Develop and maintain detailed bill of materials for projects.
• Conduct financial analysis to evaluate project costs and profitability.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in electrical engineering principles.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills across departments.
• Experience in technical sales support and/or customer support.
• Process optimization skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing processes.
• Ability to manage engineering projects.
• Strong financial analysis skills related to cost of parts and materials.

Work Environment

The position operates within a collaborative manufacturing environment, requiring interaction across various departments. The role may involve standard office hours with occasional travel to client sites

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shreveport, LA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $48.08/hr.
