Overview:

Due to our continued growth, Cenero is actively seeking an assertive problem-solver as our next Sales Executive (Audio Visual and Unified Communications) operating from our Washington, DC office.  This is a "hunter" role, and the ideal Salesperson must have 7 or more years identifying and closing top A/V decision-makers within large enterprise companies.

A proven track record in prospecting-via networking and participation in various industry groups is a major plus.

Qualified candidates must demonstrate the ability to see projects through from planning to completion, be entrepreneurial-minded, and be a 'strategic thinker that is able to provide the best possible solutions for clients.

COMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY

The total on-target earnings including commissions could range around $145,500 to $325,750. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range. Individual pay is determined by different factors, including work experience, geographic location, job-related skills, education level, position specific technical certifications, and additional trainings completed. All Cenero health and wellness benefits will begin on Day 1 of employment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new business in the Washington DC Metro area while applying full-cycle methodologies and tools including, identification, qualification, positioning, competitive analysis and closing timelines.
• Must reside in Virgina, Maryland, or Washington DC area.
• Manage and grow existing accounts using exceptional sales and relationship building skills.
• Ability to dig deep and uncover the goals of an organization and fully explain how our client might be able to help them achieve those goals.
• Develop and maintain key affiliate network/relationships.
• Create statements of work and proposals.
• Responsible for the development, execution, and delivery of quality solution-focused client presentations at a "C" level.
• Involvement in relevant community, trade and professional organizations.
• Maintain a positive work attitude, strong work ethic, and embrace a team-centric environment.
• Handle all customer relations as they relate to new business, 'crisis control', and marketing.
• Assist in developing better internal SOW, work order, and processes.
• Accumulate customer testimonials and referrals.
• Recommend pricing updates and strategies for the organization that will result in the greatest return for increased market share.
• Manage CRM activities, opportunities, etc.
• Utilize industry resources and new to keep abreast of new technology, trends, etc.

Requirements:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university in an appropriate field or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• Must have a minimum of 7 years' successful Audio-Visual integration sales experience.
• Must have a proven track record of above quota performance.
• Proven ability to listen, extrapolate information and leverage resources to effectively provide solutions to customer needs.
• Ability to effectively learn technical products, services and solutions and readily apply new knowledge required.
• Ability to identify and build relationships with senior level decision makers.
• Accurate and timely forecasting.
• Challenger Sales Training is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer interface skills.
• Superior time management skills.
• Audiovisual installation and venue/event management  experience is preferred.
• Applicable manufacturer trainings and certifications are preferred.

Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
