Sales Floor & Cash PT Lead 
Role Profile 
 
Position Summary: 
The Sales Floor & Cash PT Lead is a non-exempt, part-time position at our main store that reports to the Manager, Product Flow & Inventory. This role is responsible for supporting floor presentation by upholding visual standards and recovery and ensuring the sales floors are fully stocked, as well as supporting cash handling processes and procedures. This role is expected to uphold customer service commitments, mentor and train sales associates, and maintain organization and cleanliness standards, including sales floor and back-room areas. This role partners closely with the broader store team and store people managers.

Key Accountabilities & Achievements: 
  • Recovery, Store Standards, Visual Projects 
    • Supports maintaining sales floor recovery and visual standards, and trains to these standards. 
    • Supports executing assigned floor updates, tasking, and replenishment. 
  • Cash Handling 
    • Supports cash handling processes and procedures. 
    • Understands and trains the ins and outs of our POS (Shopify) to support questions and troubleshooting. 
  • Coach and develop team members 
    • Empower team members to take ownership of their roles by delegating tasks, following up, and providing constructive feedback to ensure success of the individual, team, and department. 
  • Mentor Sales Associates 
    • Lead and mentor sales associates by exemplifying our core values, demonstrating customer service standards, and ensuring SOPs are followed 
    • Recognize when sales associates need guidance or support and proactively offer assistance 
  • Manager on Duty Responsibilities 
    • Support driving the business 
    • Open and close the store 
    • Handle cash responsibilities including drawer counts 
    • Support the team as floor manager and handle general operational needs 
 
Knowledge, Abilities & Experience for Success: 
  • High school diploma or GED required. 
  • Sales associate experience required. 
  • Communicate with internal and external partners. 
  • Lead, or similar role, experience (preferred). 
  • Technology experience: POS system and Warehouse Management System preferred. 
Physical Demands:  
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds. 
  • Must be able to move about and ascend/descend stairs, ramps, and ladders. 
  • Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner. 
  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); color vision (able to identify and distinguish colors). 
  • Continuous standing, walking, using stairs, hearing, speaking, bending, crouching, and working in close proximity with others. 
Work Environment: 
  • Ability to work a varying retail schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and game days. 
  • Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor retail setting with adequate ventilation. 
  • Moderate noise (examples: customer and employee conversation, store music, light traffic).
