About the Role:
Poppleton's/Kashiwa Inc. is looking for a passionate and creative Sales Interior Design professional to join their team in beautiful Monterey, CA. Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in selecting furniture, décor, and design solutions that meet their aesthetic and functional needs
• Develop and present interior design concepts and space plans to clients
• Drive showroom sales by building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional customer service
• Stay current on design trends, product lines, and industry developments to provide informed recommendations
• Manage the sales process from initial consultation through order fulfillment and follow-up
• Work with vendors and suppliers to source products and ensure timely delivery
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing showroom floor

Requirements:

• Experience in interior design, furniture sales, or a related retail design environment
• Strong knowledge of interior design principles, color theory, and space planning
• Proven sales ability with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first attitude
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related experience preferred
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple client projects simultaneously
