Sales Intern

Position Summary:

The Sales Intern will gain meaningful, hands-on experience by shadowing and collaborating with members of the Sales team in a professional office environment. This paid internship offers exposure to a variety of sales functions and provides the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world assignments, build practical business skills, and develop a stronger understanding of day-to-day sales operations. This position is based in our home office in DeRidder, Louisiana.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Shadow team members across assigned areas of the Sales department to observe daily workflows, ask questions, and document key responsibilities and processes.
• Assist with data entry, reporting, and basic analysis to support department initiatives and ongoing projects.
• Apply knowledge gained through observation and hands-on training to complete routine tasks associated with assigned job functions.
• Provide administrative support to the Sales team, helping ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
• Complete departmental feedback questionnaires and participate in discussions at the conclusion of each assigned area to support learning and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Currently a junior or senior pursuing a degree in business or a related field.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications; experience with Microsoft Office products is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate typing and data entry skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members across all levels of the organization.
• Available to work for the full duration of the summer semester.
