Sales Lot Attendant/Car Washer

We are currently seeking Automotive Lot Attendant/Car Washer to join our growing team. We offer a clean and safe environment. Come be part of a team determined to be the best! The Lot Attendant/Car Washer cleans & refurbishes new and pre-owned vehicles, moves vehicles as needed and conforms to dealership and/or manufacturer specification & time allowances.

Employees in this position will be paid a base hourly wage ranging from the applicable minimum wage to $18.00/hr.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting vehicle for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery

• Restoring using appropriate materials

• Wash, wax, and buff the vehicle, clean interior and exterior windows

• Applying special-purpose cleaner to remove foreign materials

• Vacuum and scrub interior of vehicle using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators and cleaning devices

• Clean engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment

• Apply dressing on tires and tire wells

• Utilize special purpose cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness of vehicles

• Operate all tools in a safe manner by using proper eye, hand & body protection

• Report any safety issues immediately to management

• Maintaining showroom and stock vehicles in clean & presentable conditions at all times

• Retrieving the clients vehicle as notified by Management

• Inspecting each vehicle to be delivered for lot damage that may have occurred during or before delivery

• Places buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.

• Keeps new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.

• Cleans driveway and sidewalks

• Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.

• Makes key tags for vehicles.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
