Responsibilities:

The sales lot attendant is responsible for inventory presentation. Making sure that vehicles are clean and ready for test drives and post-sale deliveries as well as increase customer convenience and maintaining an orderly sales parking area. The primary duties and responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for checking vehicles after being loaned to service or test drives for damage or need to be cleaned
  • Perform a variety of tasks including: janitorial, delivery driving, landscaping, washing and vacuuming vehicles.
  • Maintain the parking lot in a neat and organized manner routinely washing exterior of vehicles to keep looking like new.
  • Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles, including the ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
  • Make sure all the vehicles in the lot are kept locked after business hours.
  • Inspect each vehicle for lot damage that may have been done during the vehicle’s stay. Report any damage to management immediately.
  • Inspect the vehicle for grease spots or any other stains or debris that the service department may have left and clean them up immediately using the material and techniques specified by management.
  • When delivering completed vehicles to their owners, thank them in a friendly and courteous manner and let them know that we appreciate their business.
  • Assisting the managers with anything they need, or might need help with.

Qualifications:

  • Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions
  • A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to multi task in a fast paced work environment
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills
