About the Role
We are seeking a Sales Manager (Player-Coach) to lead B2B sales efforts in the Jonesboro / Northeast Arkansas market.
This is a high-impact, quota-carrying leadership role, combining:
- Direct new business development
- Territory management
- Coaching and mentoring a small sales team
You'll play a critical role in driving revenue, developing talent, and expanding Datamax's presence in the region.
Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Drive new business development within assigned territory
Sell office technology solutions including:
Copiers & printers
Document management
Network management
VoIP & unified communications
Build strong relationships with business clients
Identify opportunities and deliver customized solutions
Leadership (Player-Coach)
- Manage and mentor a team of up to 2 sales representatives
- Support team development, performance, and goal achievement
- Lead by example through personal production and accountability
Account Growth & Customer Success
- Maintain and grow existing accounts
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Partner with internal teams to deliver results
Qualifications
- 3+ years of B2B outside sales experience
- 1+ year of sales leadership or team management experience preferred
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to independently manage a sales territory
- Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally
