Brennan’s seeks an experienced, service-oriented sales manager to join our friendly and fast-paced private event sales team. Brennan’s is one of the most celebrated restaurants in the United States, named an “Outstanding Restaurant” finalist by the James Beard Foundation and a five-time Grand Award winner from Wine Spectator. Our historic building, beautiful dining rooms, and French Quarter courtyard are highly sought after for weddings and for corporate, social, and convention events.
Our sales managers are the bridge between our party hosts and the restaurant, ensuring every need is met, and a uniquely Brennan’s experience is seamlessly planned and delivered.
Responsibilities include:
- Respond to abundant leads to book private party business
- Manage each booking accurately and with urgency from first inquiry through event execution
- Plan, organize, and coordinate all aspects of event bookings for hand-off to operations
- Build proposals, contracts, and BEOs in Tripleseat
- Work with the Executive Chef and operators on group menus and client requests
- Develop referral business through industry events, event planners, and hotel sales teams
- Deliver sales projections and maintain accurate records for reporting
- Work in a team setting with strong and experienced sales managers
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in restaurant sales
- Strong food and beverage knowledge
- Superior interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work with clients in a highly professional manner
- Highly proficient with computer work
- Prior experience with the Tripleseat booking platform
