What You'll Do
As the HVAC Sales Manager, you'll lead the strategy, development, and performance of our residential sales team while creating an exceptional customer experience and driving consistent revenue growth.
Sales Leadership
- Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and develop high-performing Comfort Advisors and Sales Representatives
- Provide ongoing coaching through ride-alongs, one-on-one meetings, and sales training
- Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement
- Develop future sales leaders through coaching and mentorship
Sales Performance
- Establish individual and team sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Monitor conversion rates, average ticket, close ratios, financing utilization, and overall sales performance
- Analyze sales reports and identify opportunities for improvement
- Hold the team accountable to performance expectations while providing support and development
Customer Experience
- Ensure every homeowner receives a consultative, solution-focused sales experience
- Review proposals, financing options, and system recommendations for accuracy and consistency
- Maintain high customer satisfaction through ethical selling practices and exceptional service
- Resolve escalated customer concerns as needed
Business Growth
- Partner with Marketing, Operations, Dispatch, and Installation teams to optimize lead flow and installation capacity
- Develop strategies that improve lead conversion and overall revenue
- Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, training, and operational efficiency
- Support company growth initiatives and strategic planning
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading successful sales teams
- Strong coaching and leadership abilities
- Demonstrated success driving sales performance and revenue growth
- Experience analyzing sales metrics and implementing performance improvement strategies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to motivate, develop, and hold teams accountable
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in HVAC, residential home services, plumbing, remodeling, roofing, windows, or other in-home sales industries
- Experience managing Comfort Advisors or residential sales consultants
- Experience with CRM systems, sales reporting, and performance dashboards
- Background in consultative sales and in-home selling
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field is a plus
