Job Summary: Our client is looking for a Sales Manager specializing in Drive Technology (Gears & Winches) to lead sales across North and South America. This field-based role focuses on strategic sales growth, technical negotiations, and customer relationship management for specialized industrial drive systems. Drive revenue growth by managing Gears & Winches sales in the Americas through strategic planning, client negotiations, and market expansion. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver technical solutions while spending 50%+ time in the field, including extensive U.S. and international travel. Remote eligible for qualified candidates. Key Responsibilities: Manage all sales activities for Gears & Winches across North and South America. Conduct commercial and technical negotiations directly with customer procurement teams. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet company revenue targets. Identify new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships. Build and maintain relationships with key clients and industry partners. Support inside sales on operational tasks including quotes, invoices, and follow-ups. Monitor market trends, competitors, and adjust strategies accordingly. Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analyses. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align offerings and messaging. Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure post-sales customer satisfaction. Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings. Required Qualifications: 35+ years of successful outside sales experience, ideally in drive technology. Strong technical aptitude with deep understanding of drive systems, gears, and winches. Proven ability to handle commercial and technical negotiations with procurement teams. Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Willingness to travel extensively (> 50% time), including international trips. Excellent communication, team collaboration, and customer-oriented mindset. Proficient in MS Office; Sage experience preferred. Structured, independent worker comfortable with high responsibility. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related technical field. Prior experience in technical sales within industrial or manufacturing sectors. Familiarity with Sage ERP system. Additional Information: Location: Remote eligible; primarily field-based across the Americas. Travel: Extensive U.S. travel required, plus occasional international. Compensation: $80K$90K base plus bonus eligibility (flexible based on experience).
