Sales Manager

Compensation: $130,000 + Benefits
Location: Remote

A leading pharmaceutical distribution company is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead, develop, and hold accountable a team of National Account Managers while driving revenue growth and expanding market presence. This role combines sales leadership, business development, strategic planning, and team performance management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of 3–5 sales professionals, utilizing KPIs and performance metrics to drive results.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities with pharmacies, hospitals, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare organizations.
  • Manage key customer relationships and support customer retention initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies.
  • Forecast sales performance and provide regular reporting to leadership.
  • Implement sales processes and best practices to improve team effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and regulatory teams to ensure customer success and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical, healthcare, or distribution sales experience.
  • 3+ years of sales management experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution, including generics, vaccines, injectables, and related distribution channels.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience managing inside sales teams and high-volume revenue portfolios is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and CRM skills.
