    Job OverviewFull‑time Sales Manager – responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, leading a retail team, and driving sales for Carter's baby apparel brand. You will act as the first brand ambassador for families, guiding them through product selections and creating a welcoming environment.ResponsibilitiesBecome a product and brand expert to help families navigate every moment from preemie to size 14.Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits.Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.Consistently model service standards and omni‑channel experience while coaching others to success.Lead and execute an assigned business focus area through planning and detailed follow‑through.Perform Leader on Duty supervisor responsibilities by driving results and responding to customer concerns timely and with appropriate resolution.Utilize customer feedback to identify areas of opportunity and implement actions to drive results.Build customer loyalty through company‑sponsored programs, including credit.Offer consistent, in‑the‑moment feedback to the store team and raise performance concerns to Store Manager.Recognize exceptional performance through positive reinforcement and appreciation.Support the store team with asset protection through a consistent level of customer service, safety awareness, and operational controls.Provide availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled, with a minimum of two closing shifts a week.QualificationsPositive and solutions‑oriented mindset.Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.Proficient computer and technology skills (Outlook, Excel, web navigation, etc.).High school diploma or GED.Physical ability to lift 40 pounds, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, climb ladders, and stand or walk for extended periods.BenefitsSchedules that fit your life, allowing a focus on personal and professional responsibilities.Health benefits, including mental health coverage.30% discount on Carter's and other brands.Referral bonuses.Education “Advance You” Program for tuition‑free GED or bachelor's degree, or English as a second language.Paid time off, holidays, parental leave, and adoption assistance.Charitable matching gifts.Equal Employment OpportunityCarters is an Equal Opportunity and affirmative action employer.
