Venteon is currently seeking a Sales Manager to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in Mt. Carmel, IL
Requirements of the Sales Manager
7+ years of experience in long lead-time industrial equipment or capital equipment sales
Proven experience developing and implementing strategic sales plans that drive measurable growth
Candidates must be able to provide specific examples of strategic sales plans they have developed and successfully executed
Demonstrated success in both managing existing accounts and generating new business
Proven leadership experience managing sales teams
Strong understanding of technical, engineered-to-order products
Preferred: 3+ years of experience in press brake and/or press (hydraulic/mechanical) sales
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
CRM experience required (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)

Responsibilities of the Sales Manager
Develop and execute a comprehensive Strategic Sales Plan aligned with company growth objectives
Establish clear direction for Sales, Marketing, and Aftermarket Parts to ensure alignment and execution
Identify target markets, industries, and key accounts to drive future growth
Build actionable plans to increase market share and expand into new customer segments
Lead day-to-day sales activities across new machines, aftermarket, and upgrades
Drive accountability for quoting activity, follow-ups, and closing opportunities
Improve overall sales effectiveness through better qualification, communication, and execution
Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting discipline
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships
Develop and execute a clear, proactive strategy for new customer acquisition and market expansion
Personally engage in key customer opportunities and strategic accounts
Ensure a high level of responsiveness, professionalism, and customer satisfaction
